The primary focus of this course will be to teach you Thai massage acupressure points and stretches in the Supine position. You will learn stretches, acupressure points, and proper use of body weight using thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet. The course will also teach you efficient transitions between each of these techniques. The supine massage sequence begins with the feet and ends with the head.
This course will begin each day with Reusi Dat Ton. Course content will include an overview of Thai massage, including the origin and the variety of styles and where to learn. We will review contraindications and safety considerations, plus instructions on caring for both the client and yourself before, during, and after the massage.
By the end of this course, you will know a 60-minute Traditional Thai massage routine with the client in the supine position. You will also know the first 15 movements of Reusi Dat Ton.

You will learn massage techniques that use your hands, knees, feet, and elbows and efficient transitions between each of these techniques. Each position begins with the feet and moves up towards the head.
This course will begin each day with Reusi Dat Ton. Course content will include an overview of traditional Thai Medicine and an examination of where Thai massage fits within this more extensive healing system. We will also introduce you to the ten major energy lines central to Thai massage and to the ancient self-stretching tradition of Reusi Dat Ton.
By the end of this course, you will be able to perform a complete 120-minute Traditional Thai massage in supine, side-lying, prone and sitting positions. You will also know movements 1 to 30 of Reusi Dat Ton.
